Diapin's Promising Drug Candidate, DT109, was Featured in ScienceDaily for the Potential Treatment of Metabolic Dysfunction-Associated Steatopepatitis (MASH)
October 17, 2026
We are thrilled to share that Diapin Therapeutics Inc's promising drug candidate, DT109, was featured in ScienceDaily for the potential treatment of metabolic dysfunction-associated steatohepatitis (MASH)!
New research at University of Michigan suggests that DT109 may help protect the liver by restoring the gut microbiome's protective barrier, reducing harmful gut bacteria, and reducing inflammation.
We would like to thank Dr. Eugene Chen and his team for this important work and look forward to advancing this promising research of novel therapeutics for cardiometabolic disease.
